Every negative emotion I have, I’m told to go to therapy.

Negative emotions are human!

Why have we, as a society, grown to fear them?

“Past trauma” has been around since Freud. “Cognitive distortion” is a term bandied about by CBT, but the concept has existed since people thought about thinking.

The basics of psychotherapy are extremely stable. Every time I learn about a “new” theory, it is essentially an old theory, repackaged.
