And my point is it’s not about owning at all. I don’t see any of the stuff I download as “mine”. I have access to it. But how can you have property over something that can be infinitely copied? How can you own something infinite?

Not true. For most of human existence we worked on average like 4h a day. More on harvest and sowing season, practically nothing during the rest of the year.
And before agriculture, we didn’t really work like that. You did stuff all day, mixed in with a lot of socializing and resting. But no one had a job and people didn’t need to spend x amount of time doing y.
So not sure what you mean by this. The idea that humans live to work is exclusively a product of the Industrial Revolution.
