You could theoretically run the front engine to help offset the weight

Say the entire country of America bans 3d printers without DRM, why would a German 3D printing enthusiast stop developing their firmware?
Note that I’m not saying these bans aren’t bad. They certainly can and will cause harm to the community as a whole. But I don’t see the argument of, “if it gets banned in x place, it goes away forever, for everyone”. There are thousands of projects that are already illegal and exist without issue online. Piracy is illegal but still easily doable, it’s already illegal in several states to 3D print certain gun parts but people still create the files and print them out.

It doesn’t seem like their gripe is with the changing of a character’s race, as much as it is about not telling original stories and giving actual minority character’s stories a spotlight.
I feel I phrased that poorly, but I think it’s somewhere along the lines of, “I don’t want to see [traditionally white character] as a black person, I want to see [original black character]'s story be told”
They’re saying that Hollywood execs see that people want more black people in movies, but instead of writing good, interesting original black characters, they’re just casting black actors in pre-existing roles and calling it a day

Imagine if california made browser drm required: no more open source browsers
Why would that be the case? If I’m a programmer in New York, or Germany, why do I care if my open-source browser meets California’s requirements? If there’s any chance of litigation, can’t you just slap “not for use in California” on it and call it a day?

I genuinely think you might be talking to an LLM. Completely missing the analogy was one thing but supposedly being able to get around a 3D printer DRM with a bicycle is… an interesting proposition

Facebook marketplace wouldn’t let me search for an LSD for my car, I had to search for a limited slip differential, which gave me a ton of results for posts that had “LSD” in the listing.

There was also a series of videos at his own new house where he’s getting the LMG employees to work on things for him at his house.
Thank you for reminding me of another thing that put me off.
One of the employees that left is quoted as saying, “there’s a moment when you’re working on your boss’s third home when you start to wonder if you’ll ever be able to afford your own”.
That stuck with me.

I definitely feel like he lost touch a long time ago.
There was a video that was hosted at one of his employee’s houses (I’ve tried to find the video before but couldn’t) and there were multiple points where Linus was being incredibly rude to the guy’s new home. He was making fun of things for looking cheap, and at one point stood on (or placed something heavy, I don’t remember) a table as the owner asked several times not to in fear of it damaging the table. The video didn’t really get much attention as far as I’m aware, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I kinda stopped watching as many of their videos.
A few years later the fiasco with the prototype they sold without permission happened and his reaction and the fallout that ensued took LTT off my subscription list.
The video where he talks about how it just didn’t make sense not to buy a private jet was so far beyond out of touch I don’t know how anyone thought it was a good idea (the video, not the jet).

Yeah, the visual representation of the cyclops was nothing like what it was in real life, for example, and everyone knows the real siren’s song is Fetty Wap
