Having “the best parents” would preclude that possibility, though. Your “what-if” is a non-sequitur, it doesn’t follow.
Each person is the result of their genetics, upbringing, friend circle, life experiences etc. Having the best parents doesn’t guarantee you turning out well.

it’s a matter of the choices the person makes.
your parents don’t determine what choices you make. you do.
your parents offer you a framework you can accept or reject. and plenty of people reject their parents framework.
