In germany gardens are quite boring. Short cut grass to 6mm, hedges, front garden is stones. Barely and flowers. That is it. Not as brutalistic as american “gardens” because german gardens atleast the oder once have at least a BIT of british garden style.

I am german and this is the reason i dont want a garden. Because the image of owning a garden for it just to be boring has been ruined for me. Now classical english gardens. Oooh they are true beauty!!! If i would get a house and garden, then that would be the garden i’d get. But im pretty sure for all that i would have to go threw lots of governmental institutions…also these flowers sadly arent very well suited for the climat change heat from what i know. The other type of garden i’d love is a bog garden.

Buuut i dont know how faar i’d be allowed to get it to act like a natural bog. Mind this area used to be a bog until it got drained in the 50s-60s and its peat got harvested away :(
