    If they wanted people to opt in, they could, I don’t know, offer to pay them instead of stealing. Its a wild concept I know.

    There’s a lot of shitting on twitch here, and rightfully so - but if you think YouTube, Kick, Rumble, Facebook, TikTok etc aren’t doing this, then they probably haven’t bulldozed a large portion of your town to build a data center yet

      They’ll just change the T&Cs later on to retrospectively allow use of the data again.

      There is no such thing as enough data, probably more that users are catching on and complaining.

      The fact that users have been automatically opted in to this AI training for years is causing a lot of anger.

      But it’s mostly a placebo button:

      opting out will not prevent your data being used if you chat on someone else’s stream

      You can say no, except not really.
