IIRC that’s a fairly famous runway that’s extremely close to the ocean shore, and people flock to it to have a jet come in danger close over their heads.
If I’m thinking of the same one, it’s rather short, too. For a larger plane, every last bit of tarmac would be essential to having enough runway to come to a stop.
