For everyone using Firefox, are you using it with microG or some type of sandbox? Even when going private, you can’t download it unless you have Google Play services on mobile. Ive tried to see if it works without google and unfortunately it dosent. If that’s the case for mobile, then technically we really shouldn’t be using it either.
I use Fennec from F-Droid, a Firefox fork.
I really wanted to use Fennec but its so freaking slow
In what sense? Fennec feels identical to any other Android browser for me…
Get the APK from moz
You don’t need playstore…just download it directly from Mozilla. I do recall it was not easy to find the link from the main firefox.com website but I just saved the shortcut for future use.
