But also, needing your own vehicle and tools to do your job isn’t as normal as you’d think. Maybe necessitated in America, but apart from a driver’s license here your employer should provide you with a vehicle, parking space and tools if they’re needed to do your job. Plenty of people I know don’t actually own a car themselves, but lease one through their employer because it’s required to do their job. They walk or cycle to wherever they’re able to keep the vehicle, if that’s not at home, and don’t necessarily have their own.

Even countries with universal health insurance usually won’t cover helicopter rescue, you need travel insurance which covers mountaineering. Or you have to risk paying, it’s like 5k I’ve heard.
