        Man, I remember playing Camel and Parsec as a kid.

        You know, last century, back in the 1900s when music was either carried around on massive flat disks you scratched with a needle to listen to, or very long rolls of magnetic plastic film very expertly wound, and commercial internet wasn’t quite available yet.

          I got stupidly lucky. My dad was/is a computer programmer consultant, so he needed to upgrade his machine every couple to few years. We had the Internet at home by Aug of 1986, and hand-me-down computers as kids.
