Mine are Michael Sugrue (philosophy) and hasoyi (asian music mixtapes).
Kent carlevi - easily the best guitar videos on yt. The fact that he made them almost 20 years ago is mind boggling.
randytaylor69 for a long time - and then suddenly she started streaming regularly and it is a hilarious drunken shit show every time
Early in YouTubeland (circa 2008-2010) there was a user called AntiConsumer. Content was all taken down and the profile disappeared.
I’d love to know where to find some of that material now. There were clips from documentaries, ads, lectures and more. Might have seen my first bits of Michael Parenti there. Im pretty sure that my firat exposure to Wesley Clark’s “7 countries in 5 years” talk was from there.
totalbisquit, though more out of respect than rewatching
Mitten Squad. Guy popularized challenge runs with his fallout and elder scrolls playthroughs, and his deadpan delivery gets me every time. Unfortunately passed away after a long battle with alcoholism. I miss that dude. I don’t think he realized how much light he brought the world.
Every Frame a Painting… Come back to us
That channel isn’t dead? He hasn’t uploaded a video this year, but he uploaded a number of videos in the 2 years before, after the 7 year gap.
formerly digibro, but all the videos are gone now.
TotalBiscuit :(
Hopefully heaven has a fov slider…
Epic
RIP in peace.
Epic Rap Battles of History isn’t exactly dead but they don’t post content nearly as much has they used to. And there are some bona-fide classics on there worth watching again and again.
Loved Chuck Norris vs abe Lincoln. “I gotta bucket full of my head and I’m about to make it raaaiiin”
Eppppcrppbttttlsffffhstooooorrrry
Begin!
They started a career doing advertising work for niche businesses. The Chuck Testa ad was their doing.I was mistaken
Wikipedia disagrees with you about chuck testa. That advertising was done by comedians Rhett & Link.
Wait you’re RIGHT! Good fact check, I didn’t realize Rett&Link was a different group. I said some straight up disinfo there
There’s a new one coming this weekend!
Apetor.
Oh man. I have to revisit his channel.
Robert Murray-Smith, inventor, maker, gentleman, Englishman

Found out he died, committed suicide. Sad.
Looking at his channel, he really has some high quality content. Its sad that it had to end in that way.
Jenna Marbles, it’s been like 6 years since she stopped. Her videos are lots of fun though.
Oh, my wife was a fan of hers. What happened to her channel??
She got called out for doing blackface around summer of 2020 after the death of George Floyd and she put an apology video out saying she’s going to take accountability by going on an indefinite hiatus. She’s followed through with that, the apology seemed sincere.
Ah that’s too bad. But good onher for taking accountability. Hardly anyone does that anymore.
She retired after some stuff resurfaced.
Hell yeah!
PhotonicInduction
I aint ‘avin it.
He probably got killed by some of the shit he did.
You sayin’ ‘e done popped hisself?
Hello Internet
Technically a podcast, but I listened to the YouTube version for whatever reason and occasionally go back for my favorite episodes.
I saw this interesting postmortem analysing what happened to the podcast.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYRpJf1lor0
I listened to every episode from beginning to end in real time and I’m still really annoyed at grey for ending it that way. I’ve really soured to him a lot over the last few years, down from one of my favourite online creators for many years.
There’s been a lot to come out where Grey wasn’t the best in a lot of business dealings/situations. For instance, Nebula would have been a lot worse if Grey was still in charge.
However, even with that, it is surprising how slow moving this self proclaimed efficiency except is.
That was an interesting watch, thanks for sharing! I had a laugh when he said the Flaggy Flag rebels now have control of the subreddit.
I agree with your frustration about how the podcast ended. I get that listeners weren’t owed anything and that it was a very Grey way to go, but it just felt rude. At least we got an official announcement when Cortex said Grey was going on hiatus (and one that every HI listener knew how to interpret), but the lack of videos on his main channel over the last year is just plain odd.
Nevertheless, I hope this is all simply Grey being impolite and not, like, health problems or anything.
I was a big fan of HI and Grey, until I started to notice that a lot of the stuff Grey talked about was a bit misleading or straight up wrong. Theres now quite a bit of “CGP Grey debunked” style videos by people who actually know their stuff, based on what those are saying, I have no interest in watching any more Grey content.

Oof, I always wondered if there were more things of his that were inaccurate.
What I caught was the hexagon video and his claim about triangles (combined to make hexagon) being the best for building rockets. I worked in the launch side of aerospace at the time, and true Atlas V and Delta IV were built with triangles… But only on their booster tanks. Their upper stages had a completely different design structure, as do Vulcan, Falcon 9, Starship, New Glenn, Electron, etc etc
Triangles were only used on Atlas V and Delta IV because CAD in the 90s didn’t do rectangles very well. That’s not a problem anymore, so triangles don’t get used
GTOger has been really quiet lately, probably since his company moved to a different place that isn’t next to the lot patrolled by the tow trucks.
yovo68 (The 11 foot 8 bridge) has also reduced in uploads since they raised the bridge by 8 inches.
Bill Wurtz only uploads every once in a blue moon.
And I’ve only just noticed that Vi Hart deleted her channel. That’s a kick in the whimsy, for sure.
Bill Wurtz channel isn’t dead. He just spends a lot of time on his videos
